2012 Christmas Challenge

December 8, 2012

So I’m a little behind on my Christmas Challenge, but considering how crazy this fall has been, I’m still impressed with myself for even getting it blogged 🙂

Every year I have a Christmas Challenge for my clients- I ask for a donation to my featured charity and in return I give a 8×10 print Custom Print. I’m making it super duper easy for my clients this year beacause my Charity is

 Edmonton’s Food Bank

And to make it even easier, all you need to do is drop off your bag(s) of food at any Food Bank Location (every major grocery store has one!) and tweet me a picture (@kelsynielson) of you doing it. If you don’t have twitter (and you should since it’s fun and you can follow me tweet every couple of weeks, haha) you can text me an image or Facebook Message me an image.

I’d love you to drop off as much as you can, and if I see you’ve got more then one stuffed bag of food I might just make you two or three Custom Prints instead. And if your bag is full of healthy, awesome food you’d enjoy eating in your home, bonus points to you! ( Bonus points aren’t redeemable for more prints, only good karma!). And there’s one small incentive…. the best image tweeted to me of  a client dropping off food will receive a 16×20 CANVAS PRINT.  YIPEE!! So get a little creative, or a lot creative. I’m hoping to laugh 🙂 . And you don’t need to use a fancy camera, just your camera phone is great!

So I’m counting on you to drop off a bag full of  non-parishables. The most needed items are things like-

beans with or without pork
canned meat
canned fish
canned fruit or vegetables
peanut butter
powdered milk
macaroni and cheese dinners
pasta and pasta sauce
cereal and oatmeal
school snack items such as juice boxes, fruit cups, granola bars.

A little fine print-

This Challenge is open to all 2012 clients.  Donations can not be used towards previously ordered prints. The Challenge is on until December 24th.

For five years in a row the Christmas Challenge has been really fun and I love seeing all the participation from my clients. Hundreds of prints have been given away over the years and I can’t wait to start printing more. If you have any questions, you can post them on the Facebook Fan Page or email me at inlove (at) knphoto.ca

Thanks so much Everyone and I look forward to seeing some awesome pics!

Hugs,

Kelsy

And just to keep it fun, here’s some pics of my girls on our recent trip to Los Cabos for Chantal’s & Derek’s Wedding. I’ve edited through day 1 and 2 of our trip- so it’s a tiny sneak peek, but still- Cutest flower girls ever. Totally non-bias here. 🙂
