Brandi and John- Fort Edmonton Wedding Photography

May 6, 2013

Brandi and John were married on a perfect spring  winter day.  Considering how beautiful it’s been lately  this weddings seems like a lifetime ago, and it feels like just yesterday, at the same time. We had such a good day. Like  a ridiculously good day.  Temperatures in the minus-a-billion wasn’t going to stop anyone. With Brandi’s infectious laugh and excitement,  to John’s easy going nature and sense of humour, everything just seemed to go perfectly. The ceremony was held at the Capitol theatre in Fort Edmonton followed a reception in the Airplane Hangar.  They went with a old Hollywood glam theme and they had so many unique details to go along with it. From the cardboard cut-outs of themselves to the movie posters and the pre-wedding movie with the “credits” starring all their bridal party, the theme was executed perfectly.  The “Glam” side was all about sparkles and feathers-  I particularly liked Brandi’s grandfather’s war medal made into John’s boutonniere and her grandmother’s brooch put into her sparkly bouquet. I could go on and on…..

So thanks Brandi and John for just being super awesome.  (And for sharing my love of Pitch Perfect and other random things that we could laugh about all day long.) You just made your day  so. much. fun. (And everyone in the hangar can attest to that.)

Hugs,

Kelsy
