Kristina and John’s wedding is fast approaching and I couldn’t be more excited about it. For starters, it’s in Ireland. I have wanted to photograph a wedding in Ireland, well, since the first time I ever photographed a wedding. I can’t believe that next month we are making the long trek across the ocean- it’s going to be amazing (maybe minus the jet leg part, especially since we are bringing the kids).
Kristina and John are some of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. I’ve known Kristina since my days at NAIT and it’s hard to imagine a kinder person. I loved photographing them out at Moraine Lake on a smokey day in Banff National Park this fall to photograph their engagement. Of course, true to John’s Irish roots, we also had to make a stop in the local Irish pub for a pint and some delicious snacks at the end. I’m looking forward to recreating this scene, in an actual Irish pub very, very soon.
