Fall Family Portraits in Edmonton

September 5, 2019

On one of the very last warm evenings of the autumn season in 2018, I photographed this beautiful little family just outside of Edmonton.  Little Leoni is perfectly sweet and full of snuggles and hugs. Between reading her favourite book (Rosie Revere Engineer) and eating her favourite snack (an apple) we photographed her family in the best way possible- completely relaxed and full of joy.

My portraits sessions aren’t your typical “forced smile for the camera” for 30 minutes, they’re a perfect blend of posed portraits, play, and realness. We’re in no rush and have no timeline for our session, we follow the lead of your child and make it a positive experience.  There’s no threatening kids to smile or saying “cheese”, instead I try to take the time to get to know your children so we can have real interactions and genuine happy expressions. Through family play, tickles and giggles we get the sweetest portraits. And of course, some posed Christmas card portraits for Grandma and smiling portraits for the wall. But I find my clients always fall in love with the details and perfectly imperfect moments captured through their sessions the best.

If you’re looking real and joyful imagery full of warm natural light and cuddles, you’ve come to the right place. My goal is to photograph your family in a way that’s true to you, in a space or place that you love. I’d love to connection and have a chat about how we can achieve the perfect lifestyle portrait session for you.  Send me a message and let’s chat!
