Holly and Bill were married in a city park in Red Deer, Alberta, followed by a reception at the lovely Chalet at Western Park. It was a relaxed country wedding, which is just up my alley. It was full of laughing, friends, and no stress. They even had an awesome bbq hamburger bar for dinner which was completely unique. It gave the whole night a feeling of  relaxation and just being there to enjoy each others company. Everyone came to have fun- and they all did.

My favorite parts of the day were hearing them read the heartfelt letters they wrote to each other in the morning, seeing the adorable ring bearer walk down the isle with his tongue out in nervousness, hiking out to the surprise outlook with the bridal party ( other then being eaten alive by mosquitos- but the the bridesmaids antics in the field made up for that), laughing through the speeches and watching Holly wipe the tears away during her father-daughter dance.  Oh, and the yellow school bus converted into a party bus painted grey with “Alcatraz” written on the side- who could forget that?

Holly and Bill Thanks for being all around awesome and making your day so enjoyable for everyone there. It was wonderful to be a part of it and see how far you’ve come since I met you both long (and not so long) ago.

Hugs,

Kelsy
